D.I.Y. Dreamcatcher

Hi guys. Today, I have tried, for the first time, to make a dreamcatcher.
A friend of mine taught me a while ago and I thought I should give it a try and show you.

You will need:
  • Something circular, like wire or a thin bracelet. I've used a piece of rolled card, which was not the best ideia, I must say
  • Thread. You can use wool or a piece of string
  • Beads. Now, this is optional. If you want, you can leave your dreamcatcher simple. I added beads but you can use feathers or fake flowers
  • Scissors to cut the string.

The basic stitch is very simple, and I found an image that explains it in a good way

My main advise at this stage is that you have to be sure everything is secure and tight. The string can't be loose or else your dreamcatcher won't be simetrical and the final result won't be pretty to see.

I had a difficult time doing my dreamcatcher because I let the string loose so, when I finished it and was about to do a final knot, it was really ugly. It was wobbly and insecure.
When I tried to correct it, it was hard as hell. But I've made it! *clap, clap, clap*

The beads are quite simple to insert. If you try to make a circle with them, like I did, think twice. It wont be a beautiful perfect circle but it will still be pretty. I would recomend to just put the beads wherever you feel like, where you think it looks nice.

If you want to hang it just attach a thread to it (I didn't do it though) and...tcharam!

I hope you liked it. I know it isn't very good or cute but it was my first try, and I think it looks nice even if it is simple.
Let me know in the comments if you try to make one yourself!

Old Friends

So I think I should show you my good old make up, the basic one.
I'm not one of those people who buy make-up once a month. Basically I can't because I don't have the money.
So when I buy make up, I really need to be sure that it's the right one for me, the one I really need.
Present to you my basics

We have:
  • Nivea Ideal Revolution mascara
  • Sephora Nectar Shine hydrating care lipgloss
  • The Body Shop Colourings eye definer
  • Maybelline Affinitone foundation

The first one is almost empty. My mother gave it to me like 4 years ago and since then I have tried to use it as little as possible, because it is by far my favorite. If you guys could tell me a good mascara to replace this one I would be so thankfull!

The second one is the Sephora gloss. I have it for 3 years and I still love it and use it a lot. It has strange taste, but I like it and it gives a nice soft glow to my lips.

The Body Shop eye pencil is 2 years old. From all the eyeliners or eye definers that I have, this is the strongest one. It really gives you a strong, black line that doesn't fade away 1 minute later. The only problem to me is that it breaks easily.

The last one I bought it 1 year ago. I have a really light skin tone so I find it difficult to find a foundation or a concealer that can blend nicely with my tone. This one is a little bit darker but it's quite good.
The problem? The moment you take the lid of, you can't stop it from outpouring, which is highly inconvinient.

What basic makeup do you have?

Plastic Croissant

I've always been obssesed with my weight. I hated to see myself as a chubby or a skinny girl.
I wanted to be a thin but healthy person. And I still want to.
But since early I decided that I will not go through crazy diets or starve myself to death.
Eat healthy, do exercise.
I already do alot of exercise, so I can check that box.
I eat plenty of vegetables and fruits. But I give up to easily! Just now, when I decided I would do a stricted week, a friend gave me this croissant. It's one of those plastic chocolate croissant. It doesn't have the best quality but it still tastes pretty good. You want to eat more and more and never stop.
It's a curse!

So I am going to leave this pretty delicious croissant to my brother.
And I'm promising starting today, to eat fully healthy for a week. I can still eat candies, but little ones.

If you want to join me, you're more than welcome! Maybe I can give the inspiration you need to make your life healthier, or maybe you're the one who is going to do that to me.

Drink plenty of water and stay strong with me!

Accessorize Small Wonders

I am obsessed with  Accessorize and whenever I see a store I need to at least go inside and see the new stuff. The last sunday not only did I saw the new collection, but I've also bought two small items.

1. A golden ring with ears and little black eyes, wich kind of reminds me of Totoro and I think that's one of the reasons why I find it so cute
2. A small ring with an old inspired flower. I use it in my second ear hole, because it's quite small.

Together they costed around 10£.

The other ring you can see is not from Accessorize. A friend of mine gave it to me and I love it, so I included in the picture.

Macaron Delight

//Chocolate and salted caramel macarons//

I have a friend of mine who is quite good at pastry. Lets be honest: she masters it.
She likes to try new recepies, to make original sweets and, most of the time, she is left with a bunch of leftovers and she hates to waste food.
"Do you want some?"
Don't mind if I do.
